How to Get Your Yard Ready for Summer

Hey guys!  This month we are going to be tackling our outside spaces for The Household Organization Diet and getting your yard ready for summer!  Hopefully you have finished all of your bathroom tasks from last month and are ready to get moving outside!

How to get your outdoor spaces ready for summer with free printables to keep you on track! Part of The Household Organization Diet.
We have a lot to do in our yard this year so I am assuming that these tasks will go well into June for me.  I also have a few new backyard projects that I would like to get done over the next couple of months so stay tuned for those as well!  I’m hoping that things will be done by the start of July so we can then just sit back and enjoy for the rest of the summer – fingers crossed that the weather cooperates! 🙂

Okay so here are the plans for this month…

Need to get your outdoor spaces ready for summer? Here's a checklist to keep you on track!

To keep myself on track, I also like to use a monthly calendar to write down when I plan on doing each of the tasks.  You can read more about how I use the calendar in my cleaning binder HERE.

If you would like to add some other tasks to do for the month, you can use this sheet as well.

For those of you that like detailed checklists, I will also have a spring/summer home maintenance checklist, a yard and garden checklist, and a home exterior checklist for you to download later in the week.  These will be available for free for a limited time so don’t forget to check back!    For now, I think these posts should keep you busy… 😉

Your patio is gorgeous and quite the inspiration! We cleaned our patio furniture last weekend and took out two huge bags of dead plants. Can’t wait for warmer weather!
