My Sunday Sparks {No. 60}

Hello! I hope you have all been having a wonderful weekend!  I am having a weekend getaway with one of my girlfriend’s from Kindergarten and we have been having a great time.  I was hoping to get to Hobby Lobby for the first time on this trip but it closed before I could get there on Saturday and it is not open on Sundays.  Every single other store around it is open but for some reason that one is closed.  Just my luck…
 Anyhoo…I just wanted to drop in quickly today to show off some of the fabulous projects linked up at last week’s Creative Spark.  As always, there were lots of amazing projects to choose from!

Such a great pop of turquoise on these Halloween yarn wrapped letters from Sarah Dawn Designs.
Made in a Day created these easy spooky candles.
I love this Halloween wreath from About Blogging Time.  This has the perfect balance of spooky and cute! 🙂

These candy corn pots from Live, Laugh, Rowe make such cute little gifts.

Great front porch {with a mouse invasion!} from 2 Little Superheroes.

And Liz Marie shared her beautiful painted coffee table.
Thank-you so much to all of you that came out to the party last week.  I really appreciate you taking the time to link up your ideas and to check out the other projects!  You can find them all here if you haven’t had a chance to check out the party yet.  For those of you that were featured, please feel free to grab a featured button from my sidebar.

Before I go, I do have one little favor to ask of you.  My blog has been nominated for the Circle of Moms Top 25 Home Management Blogs.  If you enjoy reading this blog and have a second, I would love it if you could head over and give me a vote.  There are lots of other amazing home management blogs over there as well that you can check out!  There is a button towards the top of my sidebar that you can click as well – you can vote once daily up until the closing date.  Thank-you!!!

Wishing you all a wonderful Sunday!

    Hobby Lobby is closed on Sundays so its employees can attend church. I wish we had one in our town, and I would gladly shop there the other 6 days of the week.

My Sunday Sparks {No. 50}

Wow! I can’t believe that it is Sunday already! This week has just flown by!  I don’t think I am meant to be a full time working girl and will be happy to be back to my regular three days per week schedule.  On a positive note, I am SO excited that the Olympics have started and spent yesterday getting into the Olympic spirit.  As much as I love all of the events, I think my favorite part of the broadcasts is hearing all of the amazing stories behind the athletes.  Tear jerkers for sure! Have you guys been watching?  What are your favorites?
So in between swimming, rowing and gymnastics, I am just popping in today for a quick “hello” and to show off some of the fabulous projects that were linked up at last weeks Creative Spark.  If you haven’t had a chance to check out the links, head on over here.
Isn’t this summer ice cream album from Papervine the cutest thing ever?  Such a fun album to showcase some of your favorite summertime photos.
Speaking of cute, Johnny and a Dress created these beautiful burp cloths. They would make such a unique baby gift.
I love this easy and inexpensive DIY outdoor rug from Four Marrs and One Venus.  30 minutes and one could be all yours!

Alderberry Hill showed off her fabulous house sign.  What a welcoming entrance!

I always like to end each feature post with a yummy treat but this week I picked a healthy yummy treat!  This tabbouleh from Hello Paper Moon will definitely be on my menu plan for next week!

Thanks so much to everyone who came out and joined in the party last week!  I cannot tell you how much I appreciate it and how wonderful I think you all are!  For those of you that were featured here or on my Facebook page, feel free to grab a button from my sidebar.

I hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekend and I will be back on Monday with a little organization project.  Well, unless I get sucked into all of the Olympic coverage…
