It is hard to believe that Christmas is less than 3 weeks away!  It is definitely time to get going on all of that Christmas baking!  Today I have teamed up with an amazing group of bloggers to bring you our favorite Christmas treats and sweets for the holidays!

Caramel Popcorn Chocolate bark. This is so good! Just package it up for a yummy teacher or hostess gift.

I am going to be starting off with this simple and delicious caramel popcorn chocolate bark.  I have made this every year for the past few years and I LOVE it!  As an added bonus, you only need a few ingredients and about 10 minutes of your time!

This caramel popcorn chocolate bark takes no time to make and is oh so good! Make sure you make lots as it looks great packaged up for a hostess or teacher gift!
Ingredients
  • 600 grams milk chocolate
  • 3 cups Crunch N Munch or other caramel popcorn
  • ½ cup sliced almonds
  • chocolate M&Ms
Instructions
  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment or non stick aluminum foil.
  2. Place sliced almonds on a baking sheet and bake at 350 F. Stir every 2 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Break the chocolate up into smaller pieces and place in a microwave-safe bowl.
  4. Melt the chocolate in the microwave on 50% power. Start with 60 seconds, stir, and then continue to microwave in 30 second intervals until melted {stirring well between each interval}. Do not overheat the chocolate!
  5. Pour the melted chocolate onto the baking sheet and spread with a spatula.
  6. Place the popcorn into a ziploc bag and crush the popcorn into smaller pieces. Sprinkle over top of the chocolate.
  7. Add the toasted almonds and M&Ms. Press lightly into the chocolate. Place the baking sheet in the fridge for approximately one hour and then break up the chocolate into pieces.
