Happy April Fool’s Day!!! Did anyone come up with a great prank to pull? {or have one pulled on you?} Connor and I snuck into Matthew’s room this morning and made his bed while he was still sleeping. Connor thought it was hilarious! The kids then had cereal in glasses and juice in their cereal bowls for breakfast. I love how easily impressed they are!
Well, it is already that time for another calendar post. Seriously, it just feels like I finished the March calendar! The April calendar is a mix of an Easter/Spring/April Showers {hopefully this will bring lots of May flowers!} theme.
The paper is almost all from American Crafts and the butterflies and umbrellas are just cut out from the paper.
I added a few bunny stickers, a flower and chick rub-on and some felt flowers to top things off. For a list of all the basic supplies, click here.
On a totally different topic, are there any Grey’s Anatomy fans out there? I am curious what you thought of the Musical Episode. I personally loved it and was really impressed with their voices {especially Callie’s}. I pretty much cried the whole way through. I was surprised to read that reviews were not that great and a lot of people complained that the music was distracting. I guess I am just used to a lot of background noise around here!
Anyways, I hope you all have a great weekend! The boys and I are heading down to the States after school to do a little shopping. Although the boys are not too happy about being dragged around Jo-Anne’s, we all love going to Target!

For April Fools I contacted my best friend and told her I wasn’t making the beds this morning…(which I am a TOTAL FREAK about…I will NOT leave the house unless it’s done). She completely fell for it…silly girl. She thought I was sick or something…;)
I did not care for the musical last night, I think it would have been better for a less serious episode. I don’t mind musicals, in fact love them, but this was a disappointment.
I love Grey’s Anatomy and was blown away by the actors that got to sing. Callie and Lexie had beautiful voices. I don’t know what to say about the actual episode though. It was kind of weird because I am not used to them singing.

Whata super cute calendar! And a simple way to have fun with the kids at breakfast! I’ll have to do that in a few years when Baby C understands it a little. I never plan ahead enough to get into April Fool’s Day. But my realtor friend put a for sale sign in my other friend’s yard, and the pranked friend was bombarded all day by people shocked and saddened about their upcoming “move”. Haha!

I love your calendar, but I totally hated the Gray’s Anatomy segment. They took a tragedy and turned it into an abomination, IMHO. It could have been a good dramatic hour but it totally turned me off, even though the song “Chasing Cars” is a favorite of mine.

Adorable calendar for April!
I didn’t know what to expect when I saw commercials for a Grey’s musical, but I generally liked it. It made sense that everyone was singing because that’s how Callie’s damaged brain was able to compute things and Callie’s voice was amazing. But I thought the random upbeat song “Running on Sunshine” showing all the couples being happy when they should have been sad about Callie was really weird.
