Apple Cider Bar

I always like to do a beverage bar each season {you can see some past ones here and here}, and nothing says fall more than apple cider!  This cute apple cider bar goes together in just a few minutes and can easily be displayed in your kitchen or dining room. All you need are some dried apples, apple cider powder, cinnamon sticks and our free apple cider bar printables.

I have two versions of the printable labels available – one with a border and one without.  Just download, print and cut them out.  You can mount the borderless ones to any patterned or colored cardstock to go with whatever color scheme you’d like.  Just punch a hole in the labels and tie them around the jars with baker’s twine.  Mason jars work great for this too! You can download the labels here…

Apple Cider Recipe

I love a nice, hot mug of apple cider. It always reminds me of our trips to the pumpkin patch and is the perfect way to enjoy those beautiful fall days.  There’s nothing quite like fresh apple cider, but this easy apple cider recipe is pretty close!

Easy Apple Cider Recipe

This easy apple cider recipe is perfect for a cool fall day or holiday gathering.  Serve it up for a crowd for Halloween or Thanksgiving.

Course Drinks
Keyword fall drinks, hot drinks
Cook Time 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 3 cups water
  • 1 cup apple juice
  • 5 tbsp apple cider powder {you can buy this in bulk or in individual packets like you do for hot chocolate}
  • 4 cinnamon sticks
  • a handful of dried apples

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients into a pot and heat over medium-low heat until warm.  Simmer longer for a stronger cinnamon flavor.

  2. Pour into a mug and serve with the dried apples and cinnamon sticks. For an added touch, you can slice up an apple and use a small cookie cutter to cut out the core. It's a cute way to top off your mug and the apple tastes really yummy after its been soaking!

Doesn’t apple cider just want to make you curl up on the couch with a good book and a cozy blanket?

If you want to set things up for a large group of people, double or triple the recipe and add it to a pretty beverage dispenser.  You can see how I set up our apple cider farmhouse tray HERE. This would be perfect for Halloween night or a Thanksgiving dinner!

What a great idea! Cider is an autumn staple for us, though I like mine mulled :).

I love this idea. You could even have different kinds of ciders or hot drinks and use it as drinks for a fall party. Thanks for the idea.
