Hey guys! I know that I have already started posting about Christmas, but I haven’t forgotten that all of my American friends will still be celebrating their Thanksgiving in a few weeks. Today, I have joined some amazing bloggers to share some Thanksgiving table setting ideas {and fun DIY projects that you can do!} so you can create your own beautiful Thanksgiving tablescape.
Since I am Canadian, we actually celebrated our Thanksgiving at the beginning of October. We had a fairly small dinner with just a couple of guests, but it is still fun to dress things up a bit. I used our DIY chalkboard napkin rings and added an easy fall touch with a pretty oak leaf placed in each holder.
The rest of the table was also kept simple with just some white pumpkins, more leaves from our backyard, and some pine cones. A couple of metallic pumpkins were used as the centerpiece.
For some added fun {and just because I love chalkboard so much!} I created a printable chalkboard menu.
This can be used for the individual place settings or placed in a photo frame. This works great if you are doing a buffet style dinner too!
To create the menu, download your copy here and print it out onto white cardstock to the size you would like. Use a white gel pen to write in your menu items. To make it look even more like chalkboard, run the side of some chalk across it.
Then all you have to do is add it to your table or place it in a frame. Easy peasy!
