So, apparently summer is almost here. You would never guess it around here with all of the rainy, cool weather that we have been having but I have double checked the calendar and, yes, summer is coming!!
I must say, I have been a little jealous over the last couple of weeks, hearing about the start of summer vacation for many of you. Our kids will still be in school until the end of June so our “unofficial” start of summer is usually the Canada Day long weekend. I am hoping that the nice weather will show up soon and I can’t wait for the more laid back days of summer break!
So to help get you in the summer spirit, I have a few fabulous summer parties that I will be participating in. The first one is The Ready 4 Summer Blog Party hosed by Kristen from Simply Klassic Home and Maggie from Midwestern Girl DIY.
There will be 20 featured bloggers throughout the week as well as a DAILY linky party! Talk about some summer inspiration!
The second party is all about the kids!! Design Dazzle is putting on another Summer Camp full of fun and creative activities to do with your kiddos and I am super excited to be an official camp counsellor this year!

I’m from Canada too & I’m so jealous when I read all my American friends’ blogs & updates & the talk about starting summer vacation so much sooner! But it’s nice in Aug that we still have a few weeks left & they are dealing with back to school already 🙂
