St. Patrick’s Day Rainbow Fruit Platter and Chocolate Fondue

If you are looking for fun St. Patrick’s Day food ideas, give this rainbow fruit platter and chocolate fondue a go.  It’s a fun way to get your kids to eat their fruit and still be supermom.  🙂St. Patrick's Day Rainbow Fruit Platter and Chocolate Fondue. A fun family tradition!
{Connor actually dug into the fondue before I had a chance to take a picture thus the destroyed rainbow!}

Due to a lack of time, I have pretty much given up any plans to actually decorate for St. Patrick’s Day but I didn’t want to miss out on all of the fun! I have been loving all of the rainbow ideas {you can see some of them here}, so we decided to have a little family rainbow chocolate fondue over the weekend.  I think it will make a great St. Patrick’s Day family tradition!

CHOCOLATE FONDUE
  1. Heat 1/2 C whipping cream over medium heat stirring frequently until it just starts to bubble.   Remove from heat.
  2. Add approximately 150 grams semisweet or milk chocolate chunks {we just broke up a chocolate bar}.  Let them soften in the whipping cream for a couple of minutes and then whisk until smooth.
  3. Pour the chocolate mixture into a fondue pot or serving bowl.  We had plenty of chocolate left over!

Hope you all have a rainbow filled week!
