Spring Cleaning Challenge

April is here and it is time for a little Spring Cleaning!  This year I’ve teamed up with 5 amazing bloggers to create a Spring Cleaning Challenge that’s customized to fit your specific needs.
Since no two homes are alike and time is always at a premium, we want you to work in the areas that will benefit you the most.  So this year you get to create your own Spring Cleaning plan!   All you have to do is spend a little time working on your projects, post pictures of your progress on Pinterest, and then enter to win some great prizes for participating {because we can all use a little extra motivation when it comes to cleaning!}
Here are the Spring Cleaning Challenge details…
  • Make a Spring Cleaning plan. Does your house need a deep clean? Do you need to streamline your master closet? Do you need to get your paperwork under control? Do you need to organize your kitchen? Customize your own plan and leave me a comment telling me which area you need to tackle.
  • Schedule time to complete your Spring Cleaning project. The official challenge dates are April 8-14, 2013 but you can begin at any time.  All of your hosts will be doing our own Spring Cleaning projects and posting all next week to encourage you along the way.  For even more cleaning inspiration, follow our Top Cleaning Tips Pinterest board.
  • Take before/after photos and upload them to Pinterest or Hometalk.  We want to see your progress and encourage you along the way! You can blog, instagram, or just take photos as you Spring Clean. Upload the pics to Pinterest or Hometalk and use the #SpringCleaningChallenge hashtag.  If you need instructions on how to upload photos to Pinterest head on over HERE.  For instructions on how to upload photos to Hometalk, you can click HERE.
  • Follow the co-hosts and sponsors to stay motivated and get some amazing cleaning ideas.  The co-hosts and I will be posting about our own projects during the week so make sure to follow along:

  • Speaking of PRIZES… What could be more motivating than the chance to win one of these amazing prizes?

I told you that we have some amazing sponsors this year!!  Details of the giveaway will be featured on our blogs from Monday, April 8th until Sunday, April 14th.  We really want to give you guys an incentive for tackling those Spring Cleaning tasks, so those of you that actually complete the challenge will have some extra bonuses.  Don’t worry though – there will still be some easy ways to enter too! 🙂
So how’s that for some cleaning motivation?! Who’s with me? Start with step one and put together your Perfect Spring Cleaning Plan. Then tell me all about it in the comments!!

    Perfect motivation! I have so much to do around my house, but the two projects I want to tackle first is organizing the wall-to-wall bookshelves in our upstairs hallway/kid space and getting my home office under control!

    I found you on Pinterest, and the timing was perfect because I’ve just finished a month-long challenge at OrgJunkie. My living room looks great – which makes the dining room look all the more terrifying (no, really, wait til you see the before shots!) So – that’s my challenge this week – declutter and clean the dining room!
