Scrapbook Saturday

Hi All!  I hope everyone had a great week!  I am going to be starting up a new Scrapbook Saturday series in an effort to get caught up on all of my scrapbooking!  Since I have started blogging, my scrapbook time seems to have disappeared and I am way behind.  I have a huge drawer of half finished projects and a big back log of my pictures!  So, each Saturday I will be sharing something scrapbook related.  I am considering setting up a little linky party for others to join in on the fun.  I’m just not sure if it is too specific to get enough people.  What do you think?  How many scrapbookers are out there?

So my first project is actually a class I took through Clipper Street.  It is the cutest little Travel album designed with the Destination line from Simple Stories {They have a super cute summer line too!}  We don’t have any big trips planned for this summer but will be going on a lot of fun weekend getaways.  I am going to just add one or two pictures from each trip to complete my album rather than a bunch of pictures from one trip.

Here are a few of the other pages

I love the little film strip.  It will fit the index prints that you can get.

And here is one more shot of the album.

Now it is off to a Carnival with the kids.  Hopefully the rain holds off.  I will be finishing my kitchen cabinet organization up tomorrow and will also be working on a kids craft area for the boys.  Have a great weekend!

I linked up with Passionately Artistic, Katie’s Nesting Spot, Tip Junkie, Be Different Act Normal, Tatertots and Jello, 30 Days, Fingerprints on the Fridge, 504 Main, Somewhat Simple, Lil’ Luna, Delightful Order, The Shabby Chic Cottage, House of Hepworths, Blue Cricket Design, My Uncommon Slice of Suburbia, Today’s Creative Blog, Skip to My Lou, Ask Anna, Craft-O-Maniac, Young and Crafty, The Girl Creative, The DIY Project Parade, CRAFT, Paper Issues, The Creative Crate, I Heart Naptime and Under the Table and Dreaming.

I’m a scrapbooker but I haven’t in quite some time. It’s awful. I want to get back to it as I need to work on my son’s album. He is two now!!

I love scrapbooking but often lack the time to complete my ideas. I would love some motivation to get going and use up my stash rather than just purchasing more.

I adore this album Jenn! It is fabulous! I would love if you had a “Scrapbook Saturdays” linky party! I have been thinking about how far behind I am too and I try to spend some time on the weekends with some type of creative project. I love mini-album projects…I am creating an album for our Florida trip at the moment!

I would also LOVE a “Scrapbook Saturdays” linky party! I haven’t cropped in an embarrassingly long time but am so motivated right now after checking out both Scrapbook Saturdays posts!

New follower, by the way & pretty excited about it! 🙂

    Blessings,
