Hey guys! We have had a pretty exciting week around here! For those of you that follow along on Instagram and Facebook, you may have already seen a few pictures of our newest family member. And for those of you that don’t, I wanted to officially introduce our new baby boy…
He is an 8 week old Golden Doodle puppy and we are all in love!
He has been tons of fun, loves to play, and is such a sweet cuddler! The boys are crazy over him!
Thank-you to everyone who offered up name suggestions for our new little guy! There were lots of fun options but, in the end, we chose to go with a name that was a little more sentimental.
Some of you may remember the story of my beloved little angel kitten, Big Blue {you can read his sweet story HERE}…
He was the biggest kitten in his litter and the only one with a blue ribbon collar.
When we went to go pick out our puppy, all of the pups were wearing ribbon collars of different colors. All of the puppies were cute, of course, but one stood out above the rest – the biggest one in the litter who wore the same blue colored ribbon as our special kitten.
I think it was fate.
And now the spirit of Big Blue lives on in our newest family member…Blue Two.
I think Big Blue would be happy to Have his name live on 🙂

We also have the largest goldendoodle pup of the litter and he too was wearing a blue ribbon! Doodles are the best dogs by far, we just love our Sherman to pieces. OH Jen–how precious! I love puppies and puppy breath (i know that sounds odd, but you’ll cherish puppy breath since it soon begins to be stinky dog breath)! lol. Love the meaning behind the name. This puppy is about to get spoiled!!! Can’t wait to watch him grow with your family!

Congratulations on your newest family addition! He is certainly a gorgeous pup! I also read your story on Blue (#1) and am crying my eyes out! I agree it is very befitting to continue the name and love from your cat to your new puppy! I wish you all years of happiness and joy!

He’s SO cute! Because of my youngest’s allergies, we’ve been eyeing a labradoodle for our new family member. But seeing Blue Two has be a bit interested in Goldendoodles. I’ve seen many breeders working with both breeds. I’ve always loved the face of a GoldenRet and Blue has that sweet face!
