I am always so happy when those first signs of spring start appearing. Â I am not a big fan of the cold weather and the arrival of spring means that summer is just around the corner! Â I love watching the days get longer, the spring buds starting to bloom, and seeing the beauty of spring come alive. Â And, of course, you can’t forget the tulips!
Tulips are one of my favorite flowers and always remind me of the start of spring. Â While I do love all of the colors, nothing beats the happiness of yellow! Â I picked up a couple of bouquets when I was down at the grocery store today and thought that a little spring tablescape celebration was in order!
I ended up shopping around the house for most of the items although I do have a few new things to show you as well. For the centerpiece, I used a wooden tray that I typically store my magazines in, added a couple of my DIY blue mason jars, and some yellow tulips {my very favorite flower!}. I also placed a water jug and the salad utensils on the tray as well.
I created some easy DIY twine and chalkboard napkin holders to serve as both the napkin holders as well as the place cards.
At the end of the table, I did a Spring makeover on my book page wreath that hangs over our sideboard and added a chalkboard center to it that can be changed out over the seasons.
