HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!  My little blog is turning one!  Come grab a cupcake and join the party!

It is hard to believe that a year has already passed!  I seriously had no idea what I was doing or what to expect when I started this blog up.  I tend to do things on a whim and just suddenly decided that I needed a blog!  I have learned so much {with so much more left to learn!} and have found an amazing amount of inspiration through this blogging community.  It really has been a great year!

I would like to say a huge THANK-YOU to everyone that has supported this blog and taken the time to leave me comments. I am still truly excited each time I receive a new follower and read every single one of your comments. I love finding new blogs and am constantly amazed by all of the talent and creativity out there.

So in light of my first blogiversary, I have decided to make a few additions around here. If you have noticed my new buttons on the side bar, you can see that I have decided to start up a new linky party called The Creative Spark.

Link parties have provided me with such a great source of traffic to this blog and I am hoping to repay the favor by hosting my own. Plus, it is always fun to see what everyone else is working on! The party will be for all things creative – DIY projects, crafts, scrapbooking, party ideas, etc. As long as it provides some creative spark, you are in! I hope you will all join me on my first party starting on Wednesday, July 27th. {and feel free to take a button to get the word out!}

I am going to be opening up the blog to advertising and am currently working on all of the details.  I would also love to feature guest postings or blog swap with you!  Just shoot me an email or leave me a comment if you would be interested.
