Create a cozy Christmas bedroom with these green and white Christmas bedroom decor ideas! Simple ways to bring that Christmas magic to your bedroom.

Hello! It’s been a long time since I’ve posted and I’ve missed you all! It feels like there have been so many changes in the blogging world over the past few years, but the Christmas season has always been my favorite time of the year to share my projects, so here I am!

Christmas Home Tours
Today, I’m joining Jen Rizzo for a mini holiday home tour. There are just four stops on the tour this year, so hopefully you’ll be able to check them all out. As always, they’re filled with beautiful and creative ideas to add that magical Christmas touch to your home. You can click HERE or on the button below to see everyone on the tour!
If you’re coming over from Zevy Joy – welcome! I’m sure you loved Annie’s beautiful classic Christmas home. Her Christmas trees are so gorgeous! Just click on the button below if you still need to tour her home…
Christmas Bedroom Decor
For my tour, I wanted to share some Christmas bedroom decor ideas. I always look forward to decorating our bedroom for Christmas. It creates such a relaxing and peaceful space to retreat to when the holidays start to get a little overwhelming. I love the lights and coziness so much, I typically keep a lot of the decor up throughout the whole winter season. Here are a few of my favorite Christmas bedroom decor tips if you’d like to design your own Christmas sanctuary!

Cozy Up Your Bedding
There’s nothing better than snuggling into your bed on a cold night! For most of the year, I use a white duvet cover as the base cover on our bed. I can then switch out the quilt and pillows for the different seasons to add a pop of color or pattern. I found this velvet quilt at Target a few years ago (very similar to this Pottery Barn quilt!) and love the texture and coziness that it brings.

I tend to sleep hot so I use bamboo sheets all year round, but flannel sheets are a great option if you’re looking for something warmer.

Add Some Greenery
Using greenery or other faux stems is one of the quickest and easiest ways to bring in that Christmas feel. I love all of the new “real touch” faux greenery that has come out over the last few years and try to invest in a couple of new pieces each year. The greenery above the bed is one of my only Christmas decor purchases this year and I think it makes a big impact in the room. Plus it gives me another place that I can add lights. 😉

You can also add swags or wreaths to your mirrors, a small garland to your dresser, or put some faux stems in a vase. It’s such a simple way to dress things up for the holidays.

Put up a Tree
You can never go wrong adding a Christmas tree to your bedroom! There are many smaller options or thinner trees available if you’re short on space. I found an inexpensive tree from Walmart for our bedroom back during the “corona times” to cheer me up and I never went back. I love having a tree in our room!

I have been collecting felt mice for a number of years and they all hang out on this tree. Just a little something that makes me smile.

Bring In the Christmas Scents
There are so many amazing scents that remind me of Christmas and I love bringing a few of my favorites into the bedroom. Light your favorite Christmas candles, add some linen spray to your sheets (or create your own DIY linen spray!), or diffuse some essential oils. Thymes Frasier Fir is my favorite Christmas scent and I always splurge for a new one each year. I also use the laundry oil for our sheets and towels.

Light It Up
Nothing is more relaxing and peaceful than a pretty glow! Add candles, twinkle lights, or other lighted decor pieces to create that beautiful Christmas ambiance. I added some battery operated lights along the garland above our bed and have some decorative candles throughout the room. My favorite piece is this lighted crystal tree that I picked up from Hobby Lobby a number of years ago.

I can never seem to capture the glow of the Christmas tree on camera very well, but here she is all lit up.

I hope you enjoyed the mini tour and found some inspiration for your own Christmas bedroom decor.

Don’t forget to continue on with the remaining Christmas home tours for even more inspiration. I am tecnically at the end of the tour, but you can start from the beginning by visiting Jennifer Rizzo. Jen always has the most creative and unique decor ideas – you’ll love all of her nostalgic, vintage Christmas decor.

Christmas Family Room Decor Ideas

So pretty, Jennifer! You can never go wrong with velvet on the bed! I sleep hot too, but have never thought to try bamboo sheets. Thanks for that tip! Love the stuffed reindeer under the tree and on the bench at the foot of the bed. They add a touch of whimsy to your holiday bedroom.
Yes, I love all of the Christmas stuffed animals and have them all through the house. Mostly mice on our main floor. lol!
Lovely, warm and peaceful.
Do you have a source for the garland on your bedroom dresser?
Thanks so much! I got the garland at a local shop a few years ago – Glenda’s Christmas Cottage in Abbotsford if you happen to be in the lower mainland. Sorry if you’re not from around here. If you’re on the hunt, I find that garden shops often have the best and most unique Christmas decor.
