Fall To Do List

At the beginning of the summer the kids and I sat down and made a little Summer To Do List. We ended up completing about 80% of the items on our list {gotta leave something to do next summer!} and the album makes a great keepsake of our summer adventures. As I was ordering some pictures yesterday to complete the album, I thought “Why should summer get all the fun?”  Fall is filled with some fabulous activities!

So here is my fall edition of our Family To Do List.  {Sorry about the terrible lighting.  If I actually waited until I had time to take some pictures in natural light I would never get anything posted!}

The paper is all from My Minds Eye {Fine and Dandy}.  The tutorial for the mini album holder can be found here.

I did do some inking along the edges of the paper and some distressing on the darker colors.  Inside I have lots of areas to add photos.

I kind of liked the blue in this paper line for a little non-traditional fall color pop.

I have a couple of hidden journaling tags throughout the album to record some extra memories.

And of course some pages to add our favorite fall activities!

I am a big fan of mini-albums – they are quick to put together and can hold a whole season of memories in one little book.  It’s always fun to look back on older albums too and I usually change up the albums with the seasons.  {It’s also kind of funny to see how the scrapbook trends change!}

This is an album from 2004.

Matthew had his heart surgery at the end of August so this was a pretty special fall for us. We loved seeing him getting all chubby in the months to follow!

You could always add a lot more pictures to these albums than I did but I kept mine simple and added journalling to the back.

So what fun fall activities do you have planned?

    Love the book. I think even I, the absolute most un-crafty mom on the planet could do something like this! Thanks for posting (I found you from tatertots and jello). I think I’ll try to start ones for my daughter’s cheer season and one for the other daughter’s volleyball season. 🙂
