If you’re short on time in the mornings, check out these quick and easy breakfast ideas.  Perfect for back to school or any time you need a breakfast on the go!

Quick and easy breakfast ideas.

Although we still have almost 4 weeks left of summer vacation, I know that many of you are already dealing with the back to school craziness.  Back to school time is always a hard transition for me as we go from our laid back summer schedule to the more structured school schedule with homework, extra-curricular activities, and early mornings.

Mornings are definitely not my strong suit, and it’s always a struggle for me to get through my morning routines with my sanity intact.  While I always try to make sure that the kids get something healthy to start off their day, we often stick with the same couple of breakfast options.  This year, I’m hoping to be more organized and am working on expanding our recipe box.

In preparation for back to school, I’ve pulled together some of our favorite breakfast ideas that we’ve already tried and have been searching for new new quick and easy breakfast ideas as well. Most of these can be at least partially prepared ahead of time and either frozen or stored  in the fridge for those hectic mornings.  And, of course, there are lots of “grab and go” options, because, honestly, I probably eat my breakfast in the car 75% of the time. 🙂

Yum! These all look so good! I can always use new ideas for breakfast. I seem to get stuck in a pattern of eating the same things for breakfast all the time, then I get burnt out. :/ Thanks for sharing!

I spawned a ridiculously early riser so I usually have a few hours to prepare breakfast in the morning. But, I am not a morning person so the recipes are still great for me. Thanks for sharing on Creative K Kids #TastyTuesdays
