This is my first year living in the USA with my husband and two children. My favorite tradition was midnight Mass listening to my family sing and play in the choir. Now we will make new ones. Today we had our first nativity pageant and it was beautiful. Perhaps that will be it.

    One of my favorite traditions.
Each year we have a new grandchild I like to make a special ornament. I use the clear glass ball ornaments and put a picture of the newborn inside. I write the birth info on the surface of the ball.
This year I get to make my 6th ornament!

I hate to put away all the decorations in January because I love the feeling of Christmas in our house. All the lights, the bright colors, the snowmen, the Nutcrackers, the greens, the gorgeous tree filled with memories, etc. make me want to have Christmas all year long. Thanks for the giveaway. We use homemade advent calendars and put slips in each night for our boys, either having them go on a Scavenger Hunt in the house for a surprise, a surprise outing (playdate, bowling, etc.), or other fun events we do as a family (driving to see lights, dinner out, making cookies, etc.).
