This delicious waffle recipe makes the perfect light and fluffy Mickey waffles. Works for any waffle maker!
Preheat your waffle iron.
Add egg whites to a mixing bowl. Using the whisk attachment on a mixer, whip on high for about 5 minutes until stiff peaks form.
In another bowl, hand whisk together egg yolks, oil, milk, and vanilla. Add flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar and mix until combined. Fold in the egg whites using a spatula.
Using a brush, lightly coat the waffle maker with the melted butter. Fill with batter depending on the size of your waffle maker. Cook according to your waffle maker instructions.
Repeat with remaining batter.
If you're serving all of the waffles together and need to keep them warm, preheat the oven to the lowest temperature. Place any finished waffles on a cooling rack on a baking sheet and keep in oven until all of the waffles are done.
