This grilled garlic butter corn on the cob is the perfect addition to any BBQ and a delicious way to prepare corn on the cob.
Ingredients
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • ½ stick {1/4 cup} melted butter
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 1 tsp. ground cumin {optional}
  • 4 ears of husked fresh corn
  • salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
  1. Mince the garlic and combine with the melted butter, and honey {and cumin if you are adding this}.
  2. Brush off any silk on the cobs and brush a thick layer of the butter mixture onto each cob. Place the corn in a plastic bag and let it marinate for an hour {you can skip the marinate time if you are in a hurry}.
  3. Preheat a gas grill to high heat.
  4. Remove the corn from the bag, season each cob with salt and pepper and wrap in aluminum foil to make four grill packets.
  5. Place the packets on the grill and close the lid. Grill for approximately 15-20 minutes {the fresher the corn the less grill time needed}, turning the packets every 5 minutes or so. The corn is done when it feels soft when pricked with a toothpick.
