This lightly spiced hot punch makes the perfect holiday drink with a wonderful balance between sweet and tart!
Ingredients
4 cups cranberry juice
4 cups unsweetened apple juice
2 cups brewed tea {I used a cranberry herbal tea but a black tea would work too}
½ cup sugar
⅓ cup lemon juice
3 cinnamon sticks
12 whole cloves
Instructions
In a 4 quart slow cooker {or larger}, add the cranberry juice, apple juice, tea, sugar, and lemon juice. Stir.
Tie up the cinnamon sticks and cloves in a double thickness cheesecloth and add to the slow cooker. NOTE: If you do not have cheesecloth, you can add these ingredients directly and strain once heated.
Cover and cook on low for 2-3 hours. Discard spices. Serve warm.
