The cooler weather has arrived and it is time to cozy up with all of those delicious fall and winter comfort foods!  I have teamed up with some of my talented blogging friends to bring you some of our favorite fall recipes, so don’t forget to check out the links to all of their yummy posts at the end of the post!  I’ll start first though with my cheesy vegetable chowder…

This cheesy vegetable chowder makes a delicious meal to warm up to!
I’ve always really loved soups, but I hardly ever make them because the kids are usually less than impressed.  I decided to try something a little thicker this time around though, and am happy to say that this vegetable chowder was a big hit for all involved!

The base of the soup is vegetarian since my husband doesn’t eat meat, but it also tastes great with a little bacon crumbled in there too!

This has my name written all over it. It’s creamy, cheesy, and bacony and because it has vegetables I think it qualifies as healthy, too. 🙂

What a lovely autumn-soup! Love that it is a bit thicker, I always think the thicker ones fills me up better. I would love a bowl of this right now to warm me up in to the bones after my chilly evening-walk.
