Candy Cane Hot Cocoa Bar

Nothing reminds me more of Christmas than candy cane hot chocolate! It is one of my favorite Christmas treats and I always buy a big cup of it when I am out Christmas shopping.   So...I thought that it would be fun to set a little hot cocoa bar up in our house...
I purchased the jars and basket awhile ago from Decor Steals and have been waiting to do something with them.  They worked perfect for holding crushed candy canes, hot cocoa powder, and marshmallows.
I printed out some tags {you can download mine here}, matted them on scrapbook paper and tied them around the jars with some baker's twine.
I had a lot of fun creating the little chalkboard sign.  I painted a wooden rectangle that I purchased from Michaels with chalk board paint and used a chalk pen to draw on the details.  It's kind of addictive!
Now all that's left is to sit and enjoy!
 {The printables can be downloaded here.  You will just need to punch them out with a circle punch}

Don't forget to link up your projects to this week's Creative Spark!  I hope to see you there!

Have a great day!!

I can't even say how much I loved this idea! This is so pretty, love every detail that went into it ^^
Now since it's Spring where I live if I were to attempt this, I had to make it more warm weather appropriate haha I'd have to use tea and herbs, the candy can stay : 9
Oh and I'd have to keep a bucket of ice cubes at hand : )
Seriously, great idea Jenn xx

Good Morning Jenn, What a lovely idea. The weather is cold and miserable at the moment, so this is an ideal time to set up my own cocoa station. I will be out and about hunting for lovely containers like yours. My little nephew will love to make cocoa when he visits. I found you via Yvonne at Stonegable and have become a new follower. Best Wishes from England, Daphne

Great idea! My hot cocoa has already parked itself by my tea kettle for the season, but this is such a prettier way to "display" it.

I am so in love with this idea! We could enjoy hot cocoa everyday with a set up like this. I would want to at least, but my self restraint would most definitely kick in.
