Fall House Tour

Happy Thanksgiving to all of my fellow Canadians!! I hope that you have all enjoyed the long weekend and have been able to celebrate all that you are thankful for with your friends and family.
I thought that I would give you a fall tour of our house today before I start to bring out the Halloween decorations at the end of the week.  A lot of the fall decorations still stay out but I like to add in some Halloween fun after our Thanksgiving.

I definitely think that fall is my favorite season to decorate for.  I love all of the beautiful autumn colors and am inspired by all of the natural beauty of the season.  I like to incorporate a lot of pumpkins, leaves, twigs, and pine cones into the decor and keep things fairly simple.

Ready for the tour?  Let’s start outside with our fall porch that I showed you last week.

For the front entry, I changed out the hydrangeas for some fall leaves.  I also found this mailbox that I loved and added it to the side of our shoe cabinet where the chalkboard sign used to be.

There are also a few friendly fellows to greet everyone!

To the left of our entry way is the piano room.

I added a berry swag and some candle pumpkins to the shelf with my fall wreath.

And some more leaves to Dave’s desk.

Off to the right is our dining room.

Moving into the kitchen…

I love going out to the pumpkin patch with the kids and collecting a variety of pumpkins.  Out go the apples and in go the pumpkins!

I bought this burlap sack from Pick Your Plum in the summer and have been waiting to use it.  It ended up fitting my Mum pot perfectly!

I have this metal tray on the kitchen counter that I like to change up for the seasons.  I just added a few mini pumpkins in with a couple of succulents.

And the kitchen command center also gets a little taste of fall with my fall chalkboard and some twigs.

And finally our family room…

I added some berries and flowers to a cut out craft pumpkin.

I hope you enjoyed the tour!  I’ll see you soon!

Your fall decorations are adorable!! I agree- Fall is my favorite to decorate for also. I LOVE Summertime (and all the other seasons too) but I crave Fall because I don’t have a lot of summer seasonal decorations. I love the little leaves and the twine tied burlap banner on your fall wreath. And your chalkboard is sooo cute! Happy Fall!
